This powerful Hudson Steam Locomotive features a precision flywheel equipped motor, ProtoSound 1.0, DCRU electronic reverse unit, a die-cast body, operating die-cast metal coupler, operating Proto-Smoke system, operating headlight, die-cast tender coal load, detailed locomotive cab interior, it operates on O-27 track or larger, and measures 22.5" inches long.
This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions. The tender features die-cast metal trucks and metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!
