Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & 6026W Tender VG

This is a Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & 6026W Tender from 1954-56. This locomotive features a motor, magnetraction, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, die-cast metal construction, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features detailed die-cast trucks, front operating knuckle coupler, and metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item did not function when tested, and is being sold as-is. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The side rods are covered in a white substance.
