Here is a MTH 20-3040-1 Gold Plated Millennium NYC J-1e Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender with ProtoSound1. This engine features 18K Gold Plated, Platinum-Rhodium Plated Highlights, Firebox Glow, Lighted Cab Interior, Proto-Sound with Squeaking Brakes and Passenger Station Proto-Effects and Measures 19 inches in length. Operates on O-42 curves.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Both the locomotive and tender show some light scratching and abrasions in the gold plating.
