Lionel 746 Vintage O N&W J Class 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive & 746W Tender EX

This is a Lionel 746 Vintage O Norfolk and Western J Class 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1957-60. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal handrails, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features plastic construction, die-cast metal construction, an operating knuckle coupler, an operating whistle, and metal wheels and axles. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item runs intermittently, but is otherwise functional. There are several nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included.
