Lionel 700E Vintage O Prewar 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender VG

Here is a Lionel 700E Vintage O Prewar 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender. This is the legendary 700E from 1937-42, one of the greatest model railroad locomotives ever built. This engine is a 1/4" to the foot scale model of the famous New York Central. J-1e class 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive. This was the first mass produced scale-sized locomotive and one of the first to use the die-casting method of construction. The engine features an enormous amount of detail. This engine will not run on traditional Lionel track; rather it runs on special T-Rail track Lionel produced at about the same time. This is a great chance to own one of the most legendary model railroad locomotives ever produced.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This locomotive is non-functional due to a damaged frame and other damaged components. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The wheels show average use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. This item has been serviced by our repair department.
