Here is a Lionel 6-18056 O New York Central 763E J1E 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Vanderbilt Tender from 1997. The die-cast Locomotive features a Pullmor motor, operating headlight, smoke unit, magne-traction, wireless tether, detailed cab interior, metal handrails, firebox glow, directional lighting and is command equipped. The Tender is die-cast metal as well and features RailSounds 2.5, die-cast metal trucks, a rear electrocoupler, metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. The custom paint job on both units is very crude with some bubbling and ripples visible throughout the shells. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
