Lionel 6-18007 O Gauge SP Daylight 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #4410 w/RS EX/Box
First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The previous owner replaced the engine's E-unit with a motor driver board and removed everything in the tender for Railsounds boards and R2LC. The speaker has a bit of a crackle to it. They had reattached a plate under the front of the engine for the pilot truck. There is a switch on the underside of the tender for run/program, which has been labeled to help identify which position is which. Engine runs well in both conventional and TMCC modes. This item displays light scratches and paint imperfections across the body and underframe. There are some heavier marks in the locomotive's steam chests. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
