Lionel 385E Vintage Standard Gauge 5626 Steam Locomotive and Tender -Repainted
Here is a Lionel 385E Standard Gauge Gunmetal 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive & 385W Tender from 1936-39. The locomotive is complete with a full compliment of drive rods, clean spoke wheels, copper and brass piping, domes, whistle, bell and stack. It has both a working headlight and a red firebox glow light. The tender has a whistle, clean sheet metal trucks with all 8-nickel journals.
This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. Boiler front is broken from the front and has signs of glue from previous repair, this is not attached to the item and comes off extremely easily. Additionally, This item has been repainted at some point in time, however there are still signs of paint wear, chips, and rub marks that have collected over time. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. E-unit sometimes skips cycles.
