Lionel 233 Vintage O 2-4-2 Plastic Scout Steam Locomotive & 233W Tender EX

Here is a Lionel 233 Vintage O 2-4-2 Plastic Scout Steam Locomotive & 233W Tender from 1961-1962. Unlike most 1960 era Scout steamers, the 233 had several features generally found only on Lionel's mid-size and large steamers. Because of its many features, the 233 has become one of Lionel's more desirable Scout locomotives. Features include plastic boiler painted black, white lettering, two position E-unit, liquid smoke unit, dual magnets for improved Magnetraction, a single metal drive rod on each side, and an illuminated headlight plus headlight lens. A 233W Whistle Tender is included as well and features plastic trucks, knuckle coupler, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are scuffs and scratches on this locomotive and tender. The original boxes are not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
