Lionel 265E Vintage O Prewar LL Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive w/Tender

This is a Lionel 265E Vintage O Prewar LL Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive w/Tender from 1935-40. This type III blue version was produced between 1936-1938. The locomotive features all tinplate construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a decorative smoke unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features all tinplate construction, a rear drawbar, tinplate trucks with silver journals, an operating whistle, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item did not function when tested and is being sold as is. This item has been restored, repainted, and has had some parts replaced. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. The instruction manual is not included.
