Lionel 262 Vintage O Prewar 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive & Tender

This is a Lionel 262 Prewar 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1931-32. The locomotive features a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a smoke stack, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features metal construction, a latch type coupler, tinplate trucks with journals, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are heavy nicks, scratches, and signs of surface rust present on both items. Heavy signs of paint wear, chips, and spider cracking are present throughout the surfaces of both the locomotive and tender. The side rods are broken and missing some of the screws. Headlamp and front light lens are broken and one is missing. Several trim parts and the tender coupler are missing. This item does not function and is being sold AS-IS. Good candidate for a project!
