This is a Lionel 2446 Vintage O Lionel Lines Summit Solid Red Stripe Observation Car from 1956. The 2446 is part of the ‘red stripe‘ passenger car set, one of the harder to find of the O27 streamlined passenger trains. It features a durable plastic body, an illuminated interior with passenger silhouetted windows, die-cast trucks with operating metal couplers, metal wheels and axles, and it measures 11" inches long. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This car is in exceptional shape with minimal nicks and light scratches on the body. There are also only minor specks of surface rust on some of the axles. This item has been tested and is functional. The wheels show average run-time. The instruction manual is not included.
