Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Small Hudson Steam Locomotive EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Small Hudson Steam Locomotive from 1954-56. The locomotive features a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, die-cast metal construction, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item did not function when tested and is being sold as-is. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The original box is included. The box has some edge wear, light creases and is missing the end flaps. The instruction manual is not included.
