Here is a Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Small Hudson Steam Locomotive & 2046W Tender from 1954-56. This locomotive features a motor, magnetraction, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, die-cast metal construction, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels, and exquisite detail. The tender features knuckle couplers, die-cast metal trucks, and metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The tender's whistle is non-functional. The paint texture on the tender's shell is very crude with thick spots of dirt and dust having settled into the shell. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive and tender show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
