Here is a Lionel 2025 Vintage O 2-6-2 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive & 6466WX Tender. The locomotive features a die cast construction with a motor, metal wheels, and lights. The tender features a plastic body construction with metal trucks, metal wheels, and knuckle couplers.
Brought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. The North American model soon became known as the "Prairie" model and would quickly become a favorite in rail-yards around the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These items show minor scratches and paint nicks throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There is also light surface rust on the side rods, wheels, and trucks. One of the front marker jewel housings is broken off the front of the locomotive but is included for reattachment.
