It has a DC motor with superrite anisotropic magnets, 5-pole skew wound armature with low amp draw, heavy diecast chassis for maximum tractive effort, spring-action trucks with enhanced 12-wheel electrical pick-up, sintered bronze oilless bearings, dual machined flywheels, and frame mounted universal coupler pockets.
