MTH HO Great Northern Diesel Engine #139

Here is an MTH HO Great Northern Diesel Engine #139. This car features custom painted plastic construction, plastic trucks, metal wheels and axles, and knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. This locomotive has been modified to use a DCC decoder, however the decoder could not be identified visually and is unresponsive to DCC signals. The engine produces idle noises, turns on the front headlight, but otherwise does not operate in DC or DCC modes and is being sold as-is. The locomotive shell has been painted and decorated by the previous owner. The outline of the previous Great Northern decals can be seen under certain lighting conditions, but the custom paintwork is fairly well done and the decals are all in great shape. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
