Lionel 6650 Vintage O IRBM Rocket Launcher VG

Here is a Lionel 6650 Vintage O IRBM Rocket Launcher. This launching car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels & axles, and a manually operated delayed missile launching system. To operate it you pull back the trigger, put the rocket on the launcher, and then hit the trigger button on the back of the car. The launcher then quickly rises, and the missile launches. The whole launching mechanism also swivels on the car so that you can determine where the missile is firing.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This car shows scratches throughout various sections of the flatcar, launcher and missile. There is also somefading and staining on the launcher piece. There is some corrosion on the metal pieces of the launcher and wheels. One of the couplers is melted and and seems to be attached upside-down. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
