This is a Lionel 616 Vintage O AT&SF NW-2 Powered Diesel Locomotive from 1961-62. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, die-cast metal trucks, fixed knuckle couplers and metal wheels. This engine was manufactured originally without a decorative horn or bell from Lionel.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. Some of the paint has been scarped off on the metal parts of the locomotive. When tested the locomotive moves and have lights on, but a loud buzzing sound could be heard.
