Here is a Lionel 6-8100 O Gauge Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive #611 from 1981. This engine is a reissue of the classic Postwar 746 and is one of the most popular engines in the MPC Era. Its features include a die-cast construction, an open frame motor, Magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, electronic whistle and Sound of Steam, and a great paint scheme.

First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels show heavy run-time. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. This item does not include the tender. There are paint chippings along the body and underframe. The number 61 appears on one side and number 611 shows on the other. This item is 611 and one of the number 1's have been taken off on the number 61 side. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
