Here is a Lionel 6-39429 O Gauge Bethlehem Steel Hot Metal Car. These unique types of rolling stock are important staples in steel mill service. The hot metal car transports molten steel between refining processes. These new Standard O models are built of tough die-cast metal and ride on newly designed die-cast metal sprung trucks specific to each prototype. It features die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles, flickering hot metal load, manually rotating hot metal drum, die-cast metal frame and hot metal drum, and measures 11 1/4 inches long.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This item shows some light scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. This item is in overall excellent condition, free of broken trim pieces. The rails and stirrup steps show slight bending.
