This locomotive offers a realistic simulation of a real steam locomotive by coming equipped with a smoke unit; this provides the puffing smoke from the smoke stack as it chugs around your layout. The locomotive is designed with a die-cast metal body with a metal frame and trucks. This is not a toy engine that's going to fall apart on you. It is more than capable of standing up to a lot of play. The tender, the car that follows the locomotive, provides the coal to feed the steam locomotive. The tender provides the sound of the whistle just like on a real railroad! The operating coupler on the back of the tender provides you with the ease of hooking up your rolling stock (freight cars not included).
