This is a Lionel 6-16612 O Gauge SOO Line Operating Log Dump Car from 1989. When you spot this car over an uncoupling track and energize it, the electromagnet on the track pulls down the plunger under the center of the car to trip the spring loaded dump tray and dumps the logs. This log dump car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
