Lionel 6-12922 New York Central Operating Remote Gantry Crane EX/Box

This neat accessory is a reissue of the popular 282 Gantry Crane from the 1950s. Gantry Cranes are one of Lionel‘s greatest accessories. You can rotate the cab right or left, raise and lower the hook all by remote control (Not included). This is truly one of the great Lionel accessories. If you have room on your layout for only one accessory, you can‘t go wrong with a crane. This model did not come with an electromagnet and is probably the least common of the Gantry cranes.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The crane has come loose and just hangs downward. There are some scratches throughout various sections. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
