Lionel 59 Vintage O Air Force Minuteman 2-4-2 Gas Turbine Switcher EX

This is a Lionel 59 U.S. Air Force Minuteman Diesel Motorized Unit from 1962-63. This is one of Lionel's colectible motorized units that were produced in the postwar years. The 59 Minuteman is one of the more desirable and slightly hard to find units since it was only made in 1962 and 1963. Features include a die-cast frame, and open rame motor, a 3-position reverse unit, a decorative horn, metal side rods, operating metal knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The plastic shell is discolored in some areas. There are scratches and scuffs present on this locomotive.
