Lionel 3666 Vintage O Gauge USAF Minuteman Missile Car w/ Cannon - RARE VG

Here is a Lionel 3666 Vintage O Gauge USAF Minuteman Missile Car w/ Cannon - RARE. This is the very rare Minuteman cannon car that was made for Sears only in 1964. This works like the common 3665 Minuteman missile launching car except that you load a wooden shell in the cannon, cock the mechanism, and close the roofs. To remotely launch the shell, either park it or run it slowly over a remote control track section. When triggered the roof opens and the launching mechanism slowly raises and then the shell launches at your unsuspecting target!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This item shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The lettering on this item is partially faded. One of the couplers is missing several pieces. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
