Lionel 342 Vintage O Motorized Operating Culvert Loader with Car VG/Box

Here is a Lionel 342 Vintage O Motorized Operating Culvert Loader with Car from 1956-58. The motorized culvert loader loads steel culverts from an awaiting line up of culverts on the back of itself. The operating claw goes over and picks up the awaiting culvert and then carries it to above the spotted car and drops it in. The inclined tray in the car allows the culvert to roll down to the bottom so the next one will also do the same. This is a great reliable postwar accessory. This also works with in conjunction with the 345 motorized culvert unloader with a connecting bridge that you can connect between the two of them so that when culverts are unloaded with the culvert loader, they roll down and across the bridge to the culvert loader where they are ready to be loaded back up again. It‘s just loads of fun! It measures 6 inches tall x 12 1/2 inches long x 9 1/2 inches wide. A 6342 car is included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the surfaces of both the loader and car. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The included culverts also show scratches and some light rusting. The original box is included. The liner is included. The instruction manual is not included.
