Lionel 293 Vintage O Prewar Electric Freight Set VG/Box

Here is a Lionel 293 Vintage O Prewar Electric Freight Set. This set includes a #252 locomotive, #805 box car, #807 caboose, and an orange tank car. Each item features tinplate construction, metal wheels, and link couplers. The locomotive features a powered headlight and motor. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive was non-functional when tested and is being sold As-Is. The housing piece for the locomotive's light bulb is brittle and heavily cracked. The locomotive shows heavy tarnish on the brass trim. One end of the caboose roof is bent. Each car shows heavy paint flaking. The locomotive and cars show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive cars show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
