Lionel 2383 Vintage O Gauge Custom Rock Island F-3 AA Diesel Locomotives

Here is a Lionel 2383 Vintage O Gauge Custom Rock Island F-3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1958-66. Features include a 3-position E-unit (powered unit only), an operating headlight, die-cast trucks, operating couplers, and metal wheels. Of all the postwar Santa Fe‘s, the 2383‘s are the best runners.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. The locomotives are non-functional due to amperage issues -- please see the repair card for the details. The shell tabs on the powered unit are broken leaving the shell very loosely sitting on the chassis. The lettering on both locomotives is flaked and heavily faded. These locomotives show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These locomotives show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included.
