Lionel 2356 Vintage O Southern F-3 ABA Diesel Locomotives VG/Box

This is a Lionel 2356 Vintage O Southern F-3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1954-56. These were one of the first Lionel F-3 sets decorated in colors other than Santa Fe or New York Central. Included is a powered A unit, a non-powered A unit, and a non-powered B unit. The powered unit features include dual motors, a reverse unit, operating lights, die-cast metal trucks, operating metal knuckle coupler and metal wheels. The non-powered a unit has an operating horn, operating couplers, lights metal trucks and wheels. The B unit features die cast trucks, fixed knuckle couplers, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. This locomotive set has been tested and is functional. Theses locomotives shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell chassis, and cab windows. These locomotives show rust on the chassis and trucks. This locomotive set shows discolored porthole windows. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included.
