Lionel 2343 Vintage O Gauge Santa Fe F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set VG

Here is a Lionel 2343 Vintage O Gauge Santa Fe F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set. One of the icons of the Post-war Era, the 2343 improved upon the original 2333 with the addition of Magnetraction The powered unit features dual motors, a remote activated operating horn, an operating headlight, illuminated number boards and cab, die-cast metal frame and trucks, a die-cast operating coupler on the front and a fixed die-cast coupler on the rear. The non-powered unit features an operating light, a die-cast frame, trucks, metal wheels and axles. It matches the 2343C B Unit with a screen top.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The powered locomotive's reversing unit functions poorly and cycles through directions inconsistently. The lights and couplers are non-functional on both locomotives. Both engines are being sold As-Is. Some thick spots of dirt have settled into and the stained the shells of both locomotives. The powered locomotive's port-hole windows have yellowed. The non-powered locomotive is missing all of the port-hole windows. These locomotives show flaking nose decals. These locomotives show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These locomotives show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included.
