This is a Lionel 2333 New York Central F3 Powered A Diesel Locomotive from 1948-49. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, decorative horns, die-cast metal trucks, operating metal knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This engine is made up from a postwar 2333 NYC shell and a 2333 Santa Fe chassis. This item displays scratches and spots of paint loss across the body and underframe. Spots of light surface rust are present on the inside of the battery compartment. Several trim pieces are missing, including all four port holes and one of the front road number plates. A small piece of the shell has broken off, located on the rear bottom corner.
