Lionel 227 Vintage O Canandian National Alco A Powered Diesel Locomotive - RARE! VG

This is a Lionel 227 Vintage O Canadian National Alco A Powered Diesel Locomotive - RARE! from 1960. A painted GREEN body would have the front coupler pocket filled in and was mounted on a sheet metal frame that had a solid non-operating rear coupler. There is no reverse on this engine and it was not equipped with Magnetraction. Instead, Lionel would put a weight in this diesel to give it some traction. This is a 1960 only model and not very common.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are scuffs and scratches present on this locomotive. This engine struggled to run when tested and is being sold as-is. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
