Lionel 205 Vintage O Missouri Pacific Alco AA Diesel Locomotive Set VG

This is a Lionel 205 Missouri Pacific Alco AA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1957-58. The 205 Missouri Pacific was introduced by Lionel in 1957 along with several other 'new' style Alcos. The 205 -- which only came as a AA unit combination -- is an excellent running locomotive. However, these later-style Alcos clearly lacked the quality, detail and durability of the earlier Alcos. Included is a powered A unit and non-powered A unit. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, decorative horns, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

These items have been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These diesels show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There is also some rust throughout various sections of the chassis, wheels, axels and pickups. The horns show signs of corrosion on them. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. Although the item was tested and functioned, the headlight wasn't working. The instruction manual is not included. The original boxes are not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at each item. Overall condition is Very Good.
