This is a Lionel 2037 Vintage O 2-6-4 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive w/ 2046W Tender from 1954-63. The 2037 was one of the smaller Lionel Postwar steam engines with smoke and magnetraction and was used in several sets in the 50s and early 60s. Features include die-cast metal construction, a die-cast boiler, a decorative bell, magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight and a 3 position reverse unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and nice molded-in detail. The tender features plastic construction, die-cast trucks, one knuckle coupler and metal wheels & axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These items show scratches, nicks, and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shells and chassis. These items show spots of rust on the chassis and wheels. The rails show slight bending. The lettering is partially faded.
