This set includes: 246 2-4-2 steam locomotive, 1130T tender, 6476 hopper, 6162-25 gondola, 6057 caboose, (8) O-27 curved track sections, (2) straight track sections, and a 1016 35 watt transformer. The locomotive features plastic construction, motor, operating headlamp, metal side rods, metal wheels and axles. The tender and freight cars feature plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and imperfections to this set. There are some small spots of rust on the metal pieces. The railing is darkened and used. There are some missing spots of paint on the set. The cord on the transformer has dry rotted and starting to crack.
