This is a Bachmann 41-0658-A4 Norfolk & Western J-Class 4-8-4 Steam Engine & Tender #610. This is a Limited Collectors Edition. It features metal wheels and drive rods, plastic construction of both the locomotive and tender, a working headlight and smoke unit, metal handrails and a decorative bell and whistle.

First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. One eccentric rod is broken on the locomotive and one set of wheels is missing of the tender.
