The tender features die cast construction with die cast trucks, operating knuckle rear coupler, metal hand railings, plastic and metal wheels, and metal axles.
Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!
