American Flyer 8B 100W Transformer VG

Here is an American Flyer Model 8B Transformer from 1946-52. This transformer supplies 100 Watts of power for train speed control. There is a separate circuit supplying 15 Volts of constant power. It also has a circuit breaker and a green power on light and a red short circuit indicator light. You will get one similar to or better what is in the photo. These have been tested and work fine. An original box may or may not be included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This transformer has not been tested and is being sold as is. The lettering on the face of this transformer is partially faded. This transformer shows scratches and paint loss on the face, body, and base-plate. This transformer shows rust on the body and base-plate. The electrical cord is worn. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
