American Flyer 443 HO Scale New York Central J3a Hudson 4-6-4 W/ 12 Wheel Tender VG

Here is an American Flyer 443 HO Scale New York Central J3a Hudson 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive and 12-Wheel Tender. This locomotive features die cast construction with a motor, operating headlamp, metal side rods, whitewall drive wheels, metal and plastic wheels and axles. The tender features die cast construction with die cast trucks, plastic and brass wheels, metal axles, and a latch style coupler.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item was tested and is not functional. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. Nicks and scratches on the wheels and surface from previous use. The original box is not included. Please see my pictures for additional features. Overall condition is Very Good.
