This is an American Flyer 322 Vintage S NYC 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender. The locomotive features die-cast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features die-cast metal construction, smoke unit, die-cast metal trucks, metal/plastic wheels and metal axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item functioned when tested. There are scratches, scuffs, and spots of rusting across the surface of this item. There is discoloration and spots of paint loss across the surface of this item. The front of this locomotive is detaching slightly. Some of the electronic components are slightly damaged between the tender and locomotive. The instruction manual is not included.
