This is an American Flyer 322 Vintage S NYC 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender. The locomotive features die-cast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features die-cast metal construction, smoke unit, die-cast metal trucks, metal/plastic wheels and metal axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis of both the locomotive and tender. Additionally, the bodies of both items show moderate paint wear, chipping, and abrasions throughout their surfaces. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. When tested, the locomotive will receive power and light comes on, but it will not traverse at all.
